
Augustine So is an award-winning film editor from Hong Kong. He had over a decade’s worth of experience producing and editing commercial and branded content and is now editing critically acclaimed narrative films.
In 2018, he produced and edited The Windsor Paradox, a dark comedy short film nominated for The Best Editing Award in the Austin Comedy Short Film Festival in Fall 2018. He served as the editor of the 2020 dramatic short film Guide On, which won Best Editing from the Oxford International Short Film Festival and Excellence in Narrative Short Production from the Ashland Independent Film Festival. In 2023, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts accepted him into their US Newcomers program.
His most recent editing work is an absurd comedy titled Fishmonger. It won the Gold Screen of Young Director Award. It is the official selection of Fantastic Fest, SITGES International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia, AFI Fest, and many others.
Recently, he worked as an Assistant Editor on an Amazon Prime original mini-series Expats, directed by Lulu Wang. He is an AFI Conservatory alumnus and a member of the Motion Picture Editors Guild.
