
Augustine So is a Hong Kong–born film editor whose work spans absurdist comedy to intimate drama, earning recognitions at major festivals. His films—including the award-winning Fishmonger and Guide On—have screened at Fantastic Fest, SITGES, AFI Fest, and Slamdance.
Beyond narrative shorts, Augustine has contributed to high-profile streaming projects such as Earnhardt for Prime Video Sports, executive produced by Brian Grazer and Ron Howard, and Amazon’s limited series Expats, directed by Lulu Wang. An Affiliate Member of American Cinema Editors, he is also a member of the Motion Picture Editors Guild, BAFTA Connect, and a Film Independent 2024 Project Involve fellow.
He frequently serves as a juror and voter for major industry honors including the Daytime Emmys, BAFTA Student Awards, the Hollywood Professional Association Awards, and the Film Independent Spirit Awards. Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English, Augustine brings a uniquely global perspective to his storytelling.
